Anthony Kruger, O.D., is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist providing full scope routine and medical eye care as well as cataract and refractive surgery co-management. Dr. Kruger graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology as well as a Certificate in Business Foundations with Distinction. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he received his Doctorate in Optometry. Dr. Kruger completed rotations specializing in ocular pathology, hard to fit scleral contact lenses, and ocular surface disease through the prestigious UEI Dry Eye Clinic. While pursuing his Doctorate, Dr. Kruger was awarded the Foundation for Education in Research & Vision Scholarship as well as a Clinical Letter of Excellence.
Dr. Kruger is an active member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Texas Optometric Association. He is highly motivated in providing the highest quality care and creating a positive and memorable experience for each and every patient at the Grand Oaks and The Woodlands locations.
Born and raised in Cypress, Texas, Dr. Kruger attended Cy-Fair High School, where he played basketball and football. In his free time, you can find him working out at the ranch, hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family and polar labrador Remington.
