Dr. Eunice Yook M.D., is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.
Dr. Yook attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology. During her time at Cornell, Dr. Yook was on the Deans List. After graduating from Cornell, Dr. Yook attended New York Medical College, where she earned her Masters degree in Human Physiology, and earned the NYMC Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences Award in Excellence. Upon completing her masters degree, Dr. Yook went on to earn her MD, with distinction in research, from the University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in San Antonio, Texas. While completing her medical degree, Dr. Yook earned First Place in the Medical Student Research Day, and was an active member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of California before completing her residency training in Ophthalmology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. After residency, Dr. Yook went on to complete a Glaucoma Fellowship at the New York Ear and Eye Infirmary of Mount Sinai in New York.
Dr. Yook is active in clinical research, and her work has been presented at numerous academic conferences and published in medical journals. She has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2022.
Dr. Yook is fluent in Korean, and her team includes members fluent in Spanish. Dr. Yook is a proud mother of two and enjoys spending her free time with her husband and kids. She is an avid runner and also enjoys trying out new recipes and expanding her culinary skills.
